I have no good street photos to post, so I'm just sort of posting mediocre ones. Is this wrong? :D

No my friend, it is not wrong. And as others have said, this shot is not mediocre. I do this also, and some of these submissions have turned out to be the ones that people like the most!

You bring up a good point. It's hard to judge one's own work. Sometimes the flip-side it true as well: a photo I love gets mostly ignored. :D I guess photos will naturally have a different meaning for the photographer because we experience the moment we photograph. And when we review the photos, that experience and all it's emotions and thoughts return to us. :D

Mediocre? Not so, Lukasz-san!
I love the little story here, and the underlying message that the young guy is now much poorer having bought LV.
I visited a Japanese LV shop in Fukuoka where there were several simple handbags costing far more than return flights back home to NZ.

Haha, I guess I didn't look at it that way. Thank you! :D And yeah, the stuff is extremely expensive, especially here in Japan. But it's a sort of consumerist culture here.

No, it's not wrong. Plusその態度はメッチャ日本っぽいですよなー!「お客様ってお神」でしょう?

That's what I liked about this scene. The extreme Japanese politeness to the customer. :D
