I'm pretty sure he did. It certainly looks that way on the full size shot.

It is indeed. Working is not so tough though. Teaching English is a pretty easy job, there's just no long term prospects in it. :D And thank you! :woohoo:

I guess foreigners (especially westerners) do get appreciated very well in Japan. And I'm guessing those who need the English language come from either middle or working class families. Teaching English may very well be just like any other job that is needed to sustain the standard of living in Japan. In my case, (I'm a native from the Philippines) we are stereotyped as domestic helpers and or a-gogo dancers. It's so hard to get a japanese visa especially a working visa.

I'm definitely :+devwatch:ing you. Please shoot more Japanese scenes. It sure does give me a lot of inspiration!

Yes, Japanese people are really good at stereotyping everyone. I noticed they're not malicious in their stereotyping. They're just brought up in a very homogeneous society and most of them don't know any better because they never really get to know any foreigners. But that doesn't they shouldn't educate themselves one way or another. Anyway, thanks for watching me! :woohoo:

I like the action and eye contact here; you froze the moment very well. I think it could be brighter though, bump up the curves a little bit...thats what i would do. :+fav:

I know exactly what you mean, but the fact is this was very well exposed to begin with. I actually bumped down the curves to dull the blacks and soften the whites. I just like this look, but I totally see where you're coming from! Thanks! :D

Thanks. I'm glad the black and white works. It's a bit of a dull photo in color. :D

I like this picture. The black and white, the shallow dof with the woman in the foreground, his look in the camera... Well done! :)
