I dunno, if I got closer I'd lose the nice red chairs which provide for a great contrast with the general blue tones of the scene. Or I'd lose the little roof and that strange S-shaped cable which provide a nice frame and context for the scene. Though I feel getting closer would have been nice since the focal point (the man and the food on the bar) is kind of small in the scene.
No, no plans. Family back home was pushing for it but I don't think there is any danger and I don't feel like abandoning my friends. A lot of people left from my work place and the foreigners leaving seems to plant seeds of panic. I didn't want to add to that panic. How about you?
Same as you; saw no need. Besides, my wife is Japanese. Even if we went together, her family is here. Actually I was surprised at seeing the other foreigners leaving. I figure that since I've decided to live here, I'll take what comes with it.
I've been here for a few years teaching English and shooting photos. That's about it for my life. If you wish you were here then look for English teaching positions. It's the easiest way to come to Japan.
