Yeah, this moment caught my eye because of the very odd interaction between the three people who seemed to be together but not exactly... :D

Glad you think so. That's the best kind of photograph for me; one that tells a gripping but ambiguous narrative. :D

looking at everyones faces you can imagine what they might be thinking and how that realtes to their surroundings and to one another. Also its interesting that you found three non-asians in Japan just coincidentally near one another.

It is interesting, though something tells me they were there together, which makes the scene even more bizarre. :D

Clearly the young couple were there together, but I have the feeling that the older lady seems to be on her own. Of course I could be wrong and it makes more sense that they were all together, but that just goes to show how much "story" there is in this picture. Also I think the young lady's facial expression says a lot. Annoyed...(?)

like a scene from a movie... i think it's a drama... this lady on background hugging street pole brings more unreality to this image... great work! :)

It's so weird to think that the people we see in photos are real people with lives filled with happiness and heartbreak but to us they are just strangers on a screen who we will never meet. I wish I could just learn the life story of everybody I met like that guy who does People of New York.
Beautiful shot, it made me think a lot ;v;

Thank you! I also think of it this way. Every person I see on the street is a whole universe that's different from the one I'm in. It's mind boggling how many narratives exists and most of them will remain secret and be lost to time forever.
